One of the things nearly all my websites feature is a map, and Google very kindly gives you the ability to make your own custom map, which can then be embedded directly within the page. You can see a demo here.
If your location is particularly remote, it’s sometimes a problem for me to find exactly where on the map your property is located, which is important if customers are using that map as a reference point for finding you. With that in mind, it’s usually best if you create the map, and send me the ‘iframe’ code I need to put it in the website.
Here’s a video showing how to do that.

Wordpress Tutorial 8: Making your availability calendar
Most rental properties have (at least one) availability calendar, and my preferred method for showing availability on your Wordpress website is to embed a Google Calendar. It’s free, it’s simple, and it looks good. To put the Google calendar in your website, you need to create the calendars and email me the code to insert them. This video shows you how to do that.
Use the controls at the bottom of the video player to watch full screen, and you’ll need your volume right up! If I go too fast, simply pause the video whilst you catch up!
