Been a bit busy over the last few weeks on my new project Mental About Rental.
I’ve been playing around with the idea for a while now of creating a directory of directories for the holiday rental sector, as it strikes me that there’s a lot of directories making a lot of claims about what they can do for rental property owners, but very little informed, reliable et impartial information to help rental owners decide which directories to list in.
Mental About Rental aims to improve that situation by providing a community around the directories listed. As well as providing information about the directory (including costs to list where available), the website allows registered users to rate and comment on the individual directories, sharing their experiences and learning from each other. In doing so, the site will help rental property owners in their purchasing decisions.
The site is just launched, so I’d appreciate any feedback (conception, usability, content, ideas, etc). It’s free to use, and free for directories to list their directory, so please, leap in and help me to create a really useful resource for the holiday rental sector.
