I had an existing site that was pretty but under performing. Dave rebuilt it on Wordpress and supported me getting up to speed with operating it. With a bit of persistence and experimentation with optimization for Search engines I now get more visitors in an average day than I used to get in a good week. After 5 years of frustration and struggle with various so called webmasters - each starting off bright eyed and bushy tailed but deteriorating rapidly until even the most basic updates took weeks, I have my dearest wish of total (well allmost) autonomy realised. And it's all thanks to .... Giteguru! It took me a while to take this step into the unknown, it all seemed almost too good to be true and there was always the question of my own lack of IT skills but so far I don't regret taking the plunge. Dave does have the patience of Job and with me he needed it, he also has the skill of presenting information in an easily digestible form and that too he needed with me. I'm delighted with my site, I've had many compliments paid and best of all I can maintain it, update it, add blogs to it and it's mine - all mine - my precious! Steady now.... seriously I recommend Dave 100% to anyone fed up with being at the mercy of webmasters and wants a quality site they can manage with a minimum of fuss. I just provided the photo of the blue hydrangea and said I wanted it to appear in the heading, chose a font for the title and specified that the main colours of the site should be blue and green (the colours of Brittany's landscape) and Dave came up with a very aesthetically pleasing site. I've had many compliments already. The French translation worked well too but needed checking over and correcting by a French person.
